Ms. Penton is skilled in all aspects of legal representation. She is a former prosecutor, public defender, and has been in private practice for over 20 years. She has been a practicing attorney for over 25 years. Ms. Penton brings all of her years of legal experience for her clients’ exclusive benefit. She gives each client her personal attention and commitment and ensures her clients will receive the very best representation. She will provide efficient, aggressive, and experienced representation to resolve your legal issues.
Ms. Penton was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and graduated from Boise High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Idaho. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University Of Idaho College Of Law in 1996.

Tomas Elder, Paralegal
Tomas Elder joined Penton Law Office, Pllc. in 2018. Mr. Elder has specialized training as an Immigration Paralegal. Tomas graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. He completed paralegal training through American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2019. He was born and raised in North Idaho and is a valuable asset to the Penton Law team.
Maricela Santos, Paralegal
Maricela Santos joined Penton Law Offices, Pllc. in 2023. Ms. Santos graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, and a minor in Political Science in 2020. She then went on to obtain a certificate of Paralegal Studies from the University of California Los Angeles Extension in 2023.
She was born and raised in Central California, then moved to Washington State to attend college, and moved to Idaho in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys attending live shows, dancing, gardening, crocheting, and relaxing with her cats. Ms. Santos is excited to be a part of the Penton Law Offices team.
