
American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has prepared a flyer which helps employees at work know what their rights are if Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) comes to your workplace. This is a great summary of how you can respond to ICE if you are questioned. Most important is to remember that you have rights.
They include the right to remain silent by stating “I choose to remain silent.” and leave if you are not being detained. Also important, do not show any false documents, make any false statements or claim to be a US Citizen.
